This year, my goal is to master flash photography, to get comfortable with using flash both on and off the camera.

Pretty much the only time I’ve used an external flash was second shooting a friend’s wedding, and to be honest, that process was quite a stressful one. Thankfully, the pictures turned out decent, if unspectacular.

I would love to create some rim shot silhouettes, and some dramatic black and white portraits. 🙂

First step, to bone up on flash 101, and to get myself a flash trigger!
