One great thing about the approaching summer months – longer days. Which means I can technically squeeze in sunrise and sunset photoshoots in between working (or is it the other way around?).
Originally, I’d planned on walking across the Sydney Harbor Bridge after work on Monday to take sunset shots, but the skies remained stubbornly clear (I struggle constantly with my love-hate relationships with clouds. Great for photography, not so nice for hiking / kayaking). It looked like we’d get great cloud cover for sunrise though, so I set my alarm accordingly for 4am.
Whilst there clouds were thinner than I’d have liked, I was still treated to a lovely sunrise this morning at Turimetta Beach, possibly my favorite beach in NSW. It was a peaceful way to kick off the day.
