My parents live right across this sprawling park, Pasir Ris Park, on the north-eastern side of Singapore. We strolled over this morning to catch the sunrise. After a week of overcast skies, we were treated to some gorgeous colors this early morning.
Afterwards, we toured the tiny bit of swamp land and watched egrets at play.
Bless the architect who designed the Supertree Grove in Singapore. Isn’t it gorgeous? We visited on a breezy evening, just in time for a 15 minute “light and music show”, and before dinner up in Indochine, a restaurant atop the largest supertree.
This past September, we spent a glorious week exploring a tiny part of Norway with a couple friends. If only we had longer. Still, we made the best of our time, and capped off the week with an incredible overnight stay at a lighthouse off Stavanger, Norway.
